Leave Leslie Consignment Gallery's Signage As Is

Dear Mt. Airy Planning and Zoning Commission,

It is our expressed desire to leave the current signage on our building that has been in the same place since November 2008 as is.  We do not feel that our current signage looks unpleasant or "trashy".  Furthermore, there are other businesses in our immediate vicinity that exceed the maximum square footage rule but were allowed to pass.   There is no consistency and there is no written procedure for an appeal as stated by the Town Manager Kelly Ziad on April 20, 2011.   We also feel that is it necessary to have our sign in the rear since there is more than one business in the same building with a shared parking lot.    We feel there has been selective approval and we are asking for consistency in addressing sign permits.
